Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
    1/2 Cup of brown rice
    3 cup of turkey stock
    2 diced carrot
    4 diced celery stalk
    1 diced red or yellow pepper
    1 medium onion diced
    2 cups of diced roasted turkey (left over)
    5 tbsp soy sauce

Tips

I use the bones of the turkey with the water and refuse from the vegetables from my turkey dinner and boiled for 2 hours. Strained and freezed it in 2 cup container that I use as chicken stock.


Directions

sauter in olive oil the rice, vegies and turkey for a few min in a oven safe pot. ( I use a cast iron pot )
pour the stock and soy sauce and baked for 2 and a half hour. until the rice is tender
