Ingredients

    Venison, 1 1/2 lbs. cut into 1/4" strips
    Extra Light Olive Oil, 1 T
    Chicken Broth, 1/2 cup
    Garlic, 1 clove minced
    Soy Sauce, 3 T
    Onion 1 large finely chopped
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1/2 c. sliced
    Splenda 1T
    Pepper, black 1/8 t.
    Peppers, red, cut into strips

Directions

Brown venison in oil over med. heat in large frying pan with tight cover. Remove all browned venison. Pour broth into frying pan. Add garlic and simmer 3-4 min. Stir in soy sauce, onion, mushrooms, sugar and pepper. Blend 1 T. of flour with 1T of water into a smooth paste, and add to sauce. Stir in onion mixture. Add browned venison and cover tightly. Simmer, stirring occassionally, for 20 min or until venison is tender when peirced with fork. Add bell peppers, cover and simmer 10 min. Serve with rice or pasta.
