Ingredients
-
1lb Elbow Pasta (or any other small pasta shape)
1 garlic clove minced
1 scallion chopped (or onion is good too)
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 cans sweet peas-do not drain
1 can water
salt pepper & herbs to taste
Directions
while cooking the pasta mince and chop the garlic and scallion. When pasta is ready drain and leave aside in strainer.
Return the pot to low-med heat and cook the garlic and scallion for 1-2 minutes in the olive oil.
Add the cans of peas to the pot and refill one can with water and add that to the pot also, along with any seasonings you like. (I prefer Italian seasonings, s&p). Turn up the heat to medium and cook until hot and flavors are infused.
Add the pasta back to the pot, stir and serve.
