Introduction
No cook icing for decorating cookies, cupcakes, or cakes. Covers 72 sugar cookies: some as fully iced, others as outlined. Makes about 3 cups of icing. Ingredients

1 very ripe banana, riced, mashed or beaten smooth
5 cups of confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp apple juice (can use lemon juice or orange juice)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp sugar free hazelnut flavoring
Add all ingredients to bowl and mix thoroughly. To color icing for holiday cookies, divide icing into 3 parts, each about 8 ounces in separate cups. Add food coloring & stir well to mix. Ice the cookies with a knife OR to decorate with lines, use the following technique:
Put the icing into a freezer weight ziplock Baggie. Squeeze the icing down into one corner. Cut a SMALL opening in corner. Squeeze bag in decorative lines. Add colored sugars if you wish.
Tips
Cut the recipe in half if you are doing just a dozen cupcakes.
Directions
No cooking needed, but beating the banana smooth will make a better icing.
This icing has no preservatives, so it should be refrigerated.
