Ingredients

Bob's Red Mill TVP, 1 cup
    Crushed Tomatoes, 793 grams
    *Dried Onion Flakes, 3 tbsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 dash
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    Cheddar Cheese, 6 oz
*Tortillas, MISSION, flour tortilla, 8 inch, 49g, 6 serving
Red Wine, 1 glass (3.5 fl oz)
    *Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp

Tips

I like to put the cheese on top and bake at 350 for 5 minutes, but its also good if the cheese is inside with the TVP filling

Directions

Add dry TVP, crushed tomatoes, wine, onion flakes, garlic powder and pepper to a crackpot. Stir, and set to low for 6 hours. Check periodically to see if all the liquid is absorbed, and if so, add 1/4 cup of water or chicken broth so that it does not burn. Just prior to eating, add the balsamic vinegar and stir. Assemble 6 burritos, giving an equal portion of TVP mixture and cheese to each.

Serving Size: Makes filling for 6 burritos, using about 3/4 cup each.
