Introduction

This is the base for refrigerator oatmeal. I eat this for breakfast every morning. in addition to this base, I add 1 tablespoon of "mix-ins" it could be an combination of mini chocolate chips, slivered almond, pumpkin seed, honey, maple syrup, dried fruit, flavored extracts but the combination of whatever I choose does not exceed 1 tablespoon total. I tend to choose 3 items and add 1 tsp of each. Except for extracts, I only add 1/4tsp This is the base for refrigerator oatmeal. Ingredients

    1/4c Plain Greek Yogurt
    1/4c Old Fashion Rolled Oats
    1 & 1/2tsp Chia Seed
    1/2c Non fat milk

Tips

if using banana, bring a banana with you and slice before eating. dried fruit may require additional milk vs fresh fruit which has a higher moisture content. add additional milk or water if you are watching calories


Directions

measure and add into a half pint mason jar. Cap and put in fridge and grab each morning for my breakfast. I use a plastic reusable screw on cap for mine.

I make 6 each sunday for the following week. The extra one is for me to eat in the evening when my willpower is trying to get me to eat cookies in the evening. So I keep this on hand to grab instead.
