Introduction

Ingredients

    beef round, 2 lbs. cut up in small pieces
    1 cup of raw carrots
    2 stalks celery chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    1 onion, medium
    1 leek sliced thin rings
    2 medium potatoes
    2 14oz. cans Organic diced tomatoes
    1 tsp. Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb season or to taste

Tips

Using Organic canned tomatoes usually means no sugar added. I also like the NO SALT version for personal dietary needs.


Directions

Spray cast iron pot with PAM vegetable spray. Brown beef, onions, celery, garlic. Add rest of vegetables and 3 cans of water with seasonings. (Use of Organic diced tomatoes eliminates sugar added to most other products.)

Serving Size: about 1 and 1/4 cups with juice
