Ingredients

One 4.5 lb Frozen Boneless Turkey Breast (2 Kilo)
    Olive Oil
    Garlic Powder or Crystals (optional)
Italian Seasoning (Basil, Oregano and Thyme)
    Ground Turmeric
    Dry White Wine

Tips

Wine is a natural tenderizer and using the Roasting Bag will ensure the meat is both tender and moist.

Pan gravy is not included in the Nutritional Info.

The fat in the Olive Oil helps the absorption of the Turmeric for higher levels of cancer prevention. So you always want the Turmeric right next to the fat.

My husband loves mushrooms, so I add 4-5 large Cremini Mushrooms (sliced thick) to the top of the roast.

Directions

Defrost Boneless Turkey Breast the day or night before.

Rub Olive Oil (spray) all over Turkey Breast and DO NOT remove any skin or fat (Ketogenic is a high fat diet).

Sprinkle the Turkey Breast with Turmeric directly on top of the Olive Oil. Then sprinkle the Italian Seasonings (Basil, Oregano and Thyme) and Garlic Powder (if using).

Place the Turkey Breast is roasting ban and put 1 cup (to 1 and 1/2 cups) of white wine at bottom of the roasting bag. Seal the roasting bag and place into a roasting pan.

Place in the oven at 350 degrees and cook for 90 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 14 5 oz servings

To make the wine sauce, just put some of the Roasted Turkey wine gravy into a pan, add a tablespoon or two of whole wheat flour (or coconut flour - even lower carbs) and stir with a whisk until pan gravy thickens.
