Introduction

Ingredients

    250g Button Mushrooms
    3 tbsp Butter
    1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
    300 ml Heavy Cream

Tips

The sauce is at the right consistency when it coats the back of a wooden spoon. When drawing your finger through it, it holds its position.


Directions

1. Slice the mushrooms.
2. Melt the butter in a medium sized frying pan.
3. Add the cracked black pepper and stir to release flavour.
4. Saute mushrooms in melted butter & pepper until soft.
5. Add cream, mix and reduce to the desired consistency.
6. Add salt to taste.

Serving Size: makes 4 - 6 servings
