Introduction

I sometimes sub in other beans, with their sauce. Also use different greens sometimes, like cabbage or kale. I sometimes sub in other beans, with their sauce. Also use different greens sometimes, like cabbage or kale.

Ingredients

    1 cup of black beans with sauce
    1 cup brown rice, cooked
    2/3 cup mixed veggies, frozen
    1/2 cup frozen spinach
    1 TB lizano salsa (optional)

Tips

Veggies and greens can be changed around. Different beans can be substituted.


Directions

Put the beans and their liquid in a skillet. Heat slowly, adding brown rice and frozen veggies. Mix well till sauce covers the rice and veggies. Add lizano salsa at the end, salt and pepper to taste.
