Ingredients

1 cup uncooked quinoa (sprouted first for 24 hrs)
    2/3 cups raw cheddar cheese
3/4 cup minced sweet potato or carrots
    1/3 cup minced onion
    3 garlic cloves minced
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup almond flour
    3/4 garam masala
    3/4 tsp salt
    3 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Tips

You can soak quinoa for 24 hours in water. Then rinse and cook. Do this 2 days before cooking burgers: 24 hrs soaking, then cook, cool overnight and prepare burgers the next day. If you don't want to sprout your quinoa, then you can do it all in one day. Cook quinoa in the morning, bake burgers at night.

Directions

1. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and shape into 13 patties about an inch thick
2. Preheat over to 350 F (or you can pan fry 6 min on each side, medium heat)
3. Bake
4. Serve warm with greens of your choice

Serving Size: 1 burger on top of salad or lettuce, top with hummus or avocado
