Introduction

No Fat/ No Salt Muffins No Fat/ No Salt Muffins
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups Bran Buds
    1/2 cup apple juice
    1/3 cup raisins
    1 Tablespoon ground flax in 3 Tablespoons liquid
    1 cup milk
    1/4 cup molasses
    1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 cup flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

Tips

Flax and liquid should be mixed to thicken. If I have no apple juice I use milk or substitute any other liquid on hand.


Directions

Combine cereal, juice and raisins and let stand for about 10 minutes.

Add flax ( after combined with 3 tablespoons liquid * almond milk or juice), cup almond milk. applesauce, molasses.

Stir in flour and baking soda.

Scoop 1/4 cup into paper lined (with spray if you'd like) muffin pan. Bake at 400 * for about 20 minutes. cool on wire rack

Serving Size: Makes 12 muffins
