Ingredients

2 medium tubers cocoyam, (yautia/tannier), (734g)
1/3 tuber Yam (700g)
4 medium pieces of Smoked Fish (400g)
1 bunch Kale (100g)
1 large Onions
1 tbsp Palm Oil
1 tbsp dry, ground Jalapeno pepper
3 tbsp Crayfish
1 dash Salt
1 knorr Chicken cube
1 bulb ginger, grated/chopped
1 tsp tomato paste
Tips
The tomato paste brings a rich red color that supports the palm oil.
Can be eaten on it's own or with beans.
Directions
1. Wash the smoked fish, place in a pot with 3 cups of water and place on the fire
2. Blend the onions and ginger and add to the pot of fish with the oil, knorr, salt, pepper, tomato paste and crayfish and allow to boil
3. Meanwhile, peel the yam and cocoyam, cut into large cubes and add to the boiling pot
4. Chop the kale and add to the pot when yam is tender
5. Stir, plate and enjoy
Serving Size: Makes 5 servings
