Ingredients

    1 cup quinoa
    2 cups water
    Sea Salt

    1 fresh tomato, chopped
    1/2 english cucumber, chopped
    1/2 red onion, chopped
    3 green onions, chopped
    5 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
    5 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
    2 tbsp garlic chives, chopped

    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1 tbsp lime juice
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp worchestire sauce
    1 tbsp red hot
    1 tbsp orange juice

Directions

Makes 10, 1/2 cup servings.

1. Remember to rise the quinoa well before using. Combine quinoa with water and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 20 minutes.

2. Remove from heat. Fluff with fork. Let cool.

3. Add veggies and mix all ingredients for sauce.

4. Combine and enjoy.

    Very Good
    Great recipe especially to get protein instead of carbs of the cracked wheat. I liked the cilantro, used 1/2 that and 1/2 parsley. My husband liked the heat of the hot sauce! - 2/18/09
