Ingredients

20 inner leaf Romaine Lettuce (salad)
17.6 oz 93% Lean Ground Beef
300 grams Onions, raw
8 clove Garlic
10 sprigs Parsley
3 tbsp Cilantro, raw
15 grams Dill weed, fresh
12 leaves mint
80 grams White Rice, medium grain
2 medium Egg, fresh, whole, raw
6 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Ripe Tomatoes (skinned, seeded and chopped)
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
salt and pepper
Directions
Briefly blanch the lettuce leaves.
Chop all the herbs.
Meatballs :
Grate the onions, press 6 cloves of garlic, mix with the ground beef, salt and pepper. Add the herbs, rice, and eggs. Mix thoroughly.
Shape 20 meatballs out of the mixture. Wrap them in a lettuce leaf.
Tomato sauce :
Heat the olive oil, add the garlic and chopped tomatoes. Add the meatballs close together. Pour water right up to the top of the meatballs. Simmer for 40 minutes.
