Ingredients

    1 cup Flour, white
    .5 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Granulated Sugar
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1 cup Milk, 3.25%
    .25 cup Butter, salted

Tips

We used salted butter in this recipe, but you could easily use oil or melted shortening or even coconut oil if you wish.


Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Add beaten egg yolks, milk and oil. Stir until batter is lumpy. Fold in egg whites. Bake in hot waffle iron. Yields 2 to 3 waffles.
