Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    6 serving Plumrose Smoked Ham Steaks (1 ham steak)
    2 tsp Onion powder
    6 cup Beans, white
    6 cups water

Directions

Place 1 lb of dried white beans in slow cooker with 6 cups of water. Add 2 tsp of onion powder. Cut the ham steak into 3 or 4 chunks and add the ham steak. (A leftover ham bone could be used.)
Put the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours.
Season with pepper if desired. (Recipe is already high in sodium due to ham.)
