Ingredients
-
244 grams Spinach, frozen
450 grams Cauliflower, raw (can substitute broccoli)
600 grams Egg, fresh, whole, raw
98 gram(s) Bacon, raw
50 grams Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
250 gram(s) Naturella - Cremino Cooking Cream
100 grams Gouda Cheese
Salt, Pepper and other spices to taste.
Tips
Serve hot or cold
Directions
Preheat oven to 190C or 375. My cooking time was 55 minutes, however, the more shallow the baking dish, the faster the cooking time. Could be as little as 40 minutes.
Cook Bacon, reserve bacon grease to cook veggies. Meanwhile, in a food processor, shred cauliflower to pieces. After bacon finishes, cook cauliflower until it absorbs all grease. Set aside. Place spinach in pan to remove excess water. Layer cauliflower and spinach in baking dish.
In food processor, crack open 10 eggs, add cooking cream, salt, pepper and any other spices. Blend. Pour mixture onto the veggies in dish.
Top with cheese. Crumble bacon on top of cheese. Slice tomato and spread on top of everything.
Baked in oven as above. Check after 30 minutes. You will know when quiche is thoroughly cooked when it rises, the top browns and solidifies, and quiche begins to remove from the sides. Cut into 10 pieces and serve hot or cold
