Ingredients

0.50 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
3 serving Idaho Spuds Instant Mashed Potatoes
    0.25 tsp Morton Iodized Salt
1.5 cup Sams choice bone broth (by JBONE822)
1 serving Smart Balance, Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, 1 Tbsp

Tips

Regular chicken broth can be used instead of the bone broth, but I use the bone broth for the added protein. I always get the lower sodium variety which is easy to find if you look for it.

Directions

Boil 1 cup of chicken bone broth on stove with the butter or smart balance spread and add salt and pepper to liquid. When boiling Remove from heat and pour over potato flakes.
I like to put the instant potatoes in a separate bowl then pour the boiled liquid over them and stir. Let set for one minute, then beat with a fork and serve.
