Introduction

Ingredients

    500 grams Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat) pan broiled
    2 cup slices Carrots, cooked
    1 cup, diced Celery, cooked
    1 cup Peas, frozen
    1.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    4 cup Mashed Potatoes
    2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    .75 cup Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    .75 cup Milk, 2%, with added nonfat milk solids, without added vit A
    1 tbsp Butter, salted
    1 dash Salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Saute the onion in olive oil and then add the beef until browned. At the same time boil potatoes to mash. Add butter and milk to the potatoes when soft and ready to mash. Chop the carrots and celery and add about a cup of frozen peas. Mix the veggies in a bowl and set aside. Grate a decent chunk of cheddar cheese. To assemble, layer beef and onion mixture and then mixed veggie mixture on top evenly followed by mashed potatoes and grated cheese. Cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 15 minutes more to brown.
