Ingredients

    5 cup, chopped Cabbage, red, fresh
    2 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 Apples, fresh with skin
    4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, Bragg's Organic
    .25 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar
    .75 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    .16 tsp Cloves, ground
    .25 tsp Allspice
    .5 tbsp Butter, salted

Directions

Coarsely chop cabbage. Add everything to the pot (adjust the spices to your own taste - I don't like cloves much so...) and simmer 45 min or till as tender as you like it. Can use regular vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar if you prefer. Great w pork, pulled pork sandwiches, or anything at all...
