Introduction
Easy, delicious--I don't bother with straining, letting any solids just settle (or shake it up before using). Easy, delicious--I don't bother with straining, letting any solids just settle (or shake it up before using).Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
1 oz (22 whole kernels) Almonds, dry roasted
0.19 cup Steel Cut Oats, dry
28 gram(s) Coconut Flakes, unsweetened Bob's Red Mill
8 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
Equivalents for the above ingredients are basically 1 oz each.
Tips
I used dry roasted almonds for this recipe but you can use unroasted almonds as well.
Directions
Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender (mine is a Vitamix--haven't tried it in a conventional blender).
Process on the highest speed for 3-5 minutes.
Let cool, pour into a closed container, refrigerate. I usually use it up with 3-5 days and it remains fresh.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1-cup servings
