Introduction

I made Crock Pot Recipe this morning so it was all ready when I got home for dinner tonight and it is just too good to keep to myself! It felt like it was made by a real chef. Mmm. I served this with wheat pasta and broccoli and drizzled the sauce over that with the chicken on top. There was a lot of left over sauce, so I'm not sure how to account for it nutritionally, but most of the fat/calories weren't eaten with the chicken. I bet you could even take out/reduce the olive oil in the recipe, but it's a healthy amount, so Ieft it in. Any kind of chicken can be used, but I went with the low fat chicken breast. It's really yummy, so give it a try!

It can also be a marinade - 2 hours (or overnight) then BBQ.

Ingredients

    Chicken, tomato sauce, spenda brown sugar, garlic, lite soy sauce, olive oil

Directions

serves 6

Combine all ingredients, except chicken, in a bowl. Dip each piece of chicken in the sauce. Place in Crockery. Pour remaining sauce over the top.

Cook in Crockpot on low 6-8 hours
or
Cook in Crockpot on high 3-4 hours
