Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    4 T Chili powder
    1 T curry powder
    1 tsp oregano
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can kidney beans, drained
    2 cans chili ready tomatoes

Directions

Brown the ground beef in a dutch oven or large heavy bottom pan.
Add the peppers, onions and seasonings. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add the beans and tomatos. Simmer for at least 30 minutes to blend all flavors.
Once you have the meat and vegetables cooked, you can dump the whoel thing in a crockpot to simmer, so you don't have to stir!

Makes six servings.
