Ingredients

    1 c. TVP
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1 Raw Onion (yellow used)
    1 clove Garlic
    1 can (14.5 oz.)Canned Tomatoes
    I can (15 oz.) Garbonzo Beans/Chick Peas
    .25 c. Tomato Paste
    .5 tbs. Balsamic Vinegar
    1 tbs. Lemon Juice
    2 tbs. Chipotle Seasoning (or to taste, used McCormick Gourmet Collection)
    1 tsp Cayenne Powder (or to taste, McCormick Gourmet Collection)
    2 tbs. Adobo Seasoning
    1 tsp. Powdered Garlic
    1 tsp. Powdered Onion

Directions

Rehydrate the TVP with enough boiling water to cover. Set aside.

Oil a medium-sized sauce pot with olive oil, sautee onions and garlic. Add rest of the ingredients, excluding the TVP.

Drain any excess water from TVP and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Cover and let simmer for at least 20 minutes, longer if possible.

Makes about 3-1c. servings, with about .5 c. leftover.
