Introduction
I was out of tahini but I wanted hummus really bad so here's what I came up with. I use sesame oil instead of olive just to get that hint of sesame flavor you'd miss from the tahini. Ingredients

1 can chickpeas, 1 tbsp liquid reserved
pinch salt
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
1 clove garlic, smashed and peeled
about 1/2 lemon's juice (appx 1 tbsp)
Directions
Puree all ingredients until smooth in food processor. Serve with carrots or your favorite pita chips!
Keeps in fridge up to about 1 week.
Serving size should be about 3 tbsp.
