Basmati Rice Medley-Trader Joe's, 1 cup
Pacific Natural Foods Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, 1 cup, 2 serving
Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp
Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 breast, bone and skin removed
Almonds, 1 cup, sliced
Directions
Slice and dice your chicken breast how ever large you want your meat. Cook in a little oil until pink is gone.
1 C. Basmati Rice Medley
2 C. water or Chicken broth
1 T. Butter
salt and pepper to taste.
1 C. raw sliced Almonds
2 chicken breast.
In a heavy saucepan, combine rice, broth, butter and other favorite things (cubed chicken, shrimp, crab, sliced olives, almonds, whatever you like) Bring mixture to a boil, stir to blend, reduce heat. Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove form heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Do not remove lid while cooking. Fluff with fork and serve.
