Ingredients

    Beef, top sirloin or sirloin tip
    Garlic, 1 clove
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tsp
    Onions, 1/2 cup
    Celery, 1/2 cup
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1/2 cup
    Turnips, 1/2 cup
    Rutabagas, 1/2 cup
    Green Beens, 1/2 cup
    Campbell's 25% less sodium beef broth, 2/3 cup
    Barley, pearled, 1 tablespoon
    Stewed Tomatoes, Italian style, 2/3 cup
    Bay Leaf
    Oregano
    Paprika
    Savory

Directions

Brown onions and celery in olive oil
Add garlic
Brown beef
Add broth, water, barley, bay leaf
Add turnip, green beans, rutabaga, mushrooms, tomatoes, oregano, savory, paprika in that order
Simmer until vegetables and barley are cooked.
To lower the salt content, no salt tomatoes can be used.
