Introduction

Ingredients

    1 pound ground turkey
    1 C chopped carrots
    4 T diced shallots
    1/2 C chopped celery
    2-3 garlic cloves, chopped or pressed
    1 T sage
    1 bay leaf
    8 C chicken broth or stock
    3 C water
    1 package Amish Whole Wheat Noodles
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Begin browning turkey in large pot or dutch oven. Add chopped carrot, shallots, celery, and garlic. Cook 10 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Add sage, bay leaf, water, and chicken broth. Bring to boil. Add noodles and follow cooking directions on package. Serve when the noodles are desired tenderness.
