Ingredients

    1 16 oz package of split peas
    16 oz of ham, cubed
    2 bouillon vegetable cubes
    4 carrots peeled and chopped
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    5 garlic cloves minced (or to taste)
    1 bay leaf
    Thyme, salt, and pepper to taste
    NOTE: Skip the salt if you don't use low sodium bouillon)
    6 cups of water

Directions

Place the ingredients in the crockpot in the following order: onions, carrots, celery, split peas, ham, bouillon, garlic, bay leaf, spices, water

DO NOT STIR

Cook on low for 10 hours or until split peas are soft. Stir before serving.

Makes 14 One Cup servings.
