Introduction

Ingredients

    1 - 1.5 lbs beef, sliced thin.
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup sugar
    3 tbs sake (or rice wine or sherry)
    2 tbs sesame oil
    8 cloves garlic, minced
    4 scallions (green onions), minced
    2 tbs toasted sesame seeds
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    half an onion, very roughly chopped

Directions

Cut steak into 1/4 inch slices. (Easiest if partly frozen.) Mix remaining ingredients. Add steak and marinate. Cook steak and marinade over med heat in a pan.

Makes approx 6 servings.
