Ingredients

    4 eggs
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cup flour

    1 pound candied cherries
    1 pound candied pineapple (or green candied cherries)
    1 pound brazil nuts (almonds will work)
    1 pound dates
    1 pound walnut halves

    mix all fruit, beat together eggs, sugar, flour, mix with fruit. Pack into 2 greased, line with wax paper loaf pan (or a bundt pan)

    cover with tin foil, shiny side to fruit cake.
    Bake in slow over 325 degrees for 70 mnutes.
    Wrap in brandy soaked towel when done.
