I found this recipe on another website and just made it a little different to fit a healthy diet I found this recipe on another website and just made it a little different to fit a healthy diet
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb flounder fillets
    1/2 tbsp butter
    1/2 oz lemon juice
    1 tbsp basil
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 can diced tomatoes

Directions

lay flounder fillets in a 9x13 baking dish. Cut butter into pieces on top of fillets. Next pour lemon juice on top. Mix diced tomatoes, garlic powder and basil, then spread on top of fillets.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until fillets are flaky.

    I tried this recipe and it's sooo flavorful! I use canned tomatoes with garlic and olive oil for burst of flavor. Usually there's enough sauce to pour over rice and steamed veggies. My kids and hubby loves it, it's becoming a weekly thing now... it's to die for!!! - 9/16/10

    Did not like. The lemon was too overpowering. The other flavors went very well together. I will try again without the lemon juice. - 3/28/16

    Incredible!
    DINNER: I left out the butter in this recipe it is not needed [for flounder] a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning, and a chopped up tomato on top of 4 flounder fillets and into the toaster oven 20 minutes about 325 degrees farenheit :) - 8/28/12
