Introduction

This is a great treat when you need something sweet with Chocolate. This is also an easy recipe to make with children. This is a great treat when you need something sweet with Chocolate. This is also an easy recipe to make with children.
Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    2 Sticks of Butter or Margarine(I used Smart Balance sticks)
    2 cups Sugar
    2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
    1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
    2/3 Cup Hersheys Unsweetened Cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    You may also add 1 cup of chopped nuts if you choose, but that will be additional calories.

Directions

Heat the oven to 350 Degrees

Mix melted butter,sugar, vanilla, and eggs. In a seperate bowl stir together flour,cocoa,baking powder, and salt. Add gradually the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Stir in nuts now if desired.

Bake in a prepared pan for 20 -25 minutes(I use the paper wrappings from the stick of butter to prepare my pan).

Cool and Enjoy.
This recipe makes 32 Brownies.
