Ingredients

1 box lite tofu
1/4 cup low salt soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

14 ounces firm tofu
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
Wrap the tofu in paper towels and place in a shallow pan. Position a plate on top of the tofu and put a heavy object on top of the plate. The weight will remove the excess liquid from the tofu. Allow to stand for a t least 30 minutes. Slice the tofu lengthways into 4 slices and place in a shallow glass pan.
In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, oil, and vinegar. Pour the marinade over the tofu, cover tightly and refrigerate for 1 hour – too long and it explodes in the Forman.
If cooking in the George Forman Grill - Steak Plate on top, Grilling Pate in the bottom. Set the lever to back. Set to High. Place the tofu on the grilling plate, discard the marinade and close the lid. Cook for 6-7 minutes. Check the tofu and continue grilling for 1-2 minutes or until the tofu is thoroughly headed through and the outside is browned. If grilling in a pan, flip 4 minutes in. I pour the marinade in the pan when it is just about done.
