Introduction

Something I threw together at home to use up some left over steak. Turned out to be something we all enjoyed. Something I threw together at home to use up some left over steak. Turned out to be something we all enjoyed.

Ingredients

    2 steaks cut into strips
    1/2 onion sliced
    1/2 green pepper sliced into strips
    2 tbsp butter
    2 tsp sugar
    1 1/2 tblsp honey
    2 tsp celery seeds
    2 jalepenos chopped
    2 tsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    1 tbsp water
    dash salt
    dash pepper

Directions

Cut steaks into strips. Heat butter on medium heat in skillet. Add onions and sugar and cook, stirring occasionally until well wilted and starting to brown. Turn up heat to medium-high, stirring constantly until onions are caramelized. Add vinegar and mix onions well. Add peppers, stir. Add Meat and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste, garlic, baby corn, jalepeno, celery seeds and honey. Cook until meat is throughly cooked. Mix cornstarch and water and add to sauce. Stir until sauce is thickened well and remove from heat. Serve over rice.
