Ingredients

4 large apple(s), tart, 4 cups peeled and thinly sliced
    1/3 cup(s) orange juice, unsweetened
    2/3 cup(s) sugar, divided
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
    1 cup(s) flour, all-purpose
    1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup(s) margarine, stick
    1/2 cup(s) milk, fat-free
    2 teaspoon sugar

Directions

1. Combine apple slices and orange juice in a large bowl; add 1/3 cup sugar and next 3 ingredients, stirring well. Spoon mixture into an 11- x 7- x 11/2-inch baking dish; set aside.

2. Combine remaining 1/3 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk; stir with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened.

3. Drop batter by 8 large spoonfuls over apple mixture; sprinkle 2 teaspoons sugar over cobbler. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
