    4 cups dried black beans (prepared)
    3 tbs Mrs. Dash Italian Seasoning
    1 oz Garlic
    6 oz. Onion
    4 oz. Carrots
    1 cup Quaker Oats (unprepared)
    4 oz Fresh Mushrooms
    3 oz Red Bell Peppers
    2 egg whites


Made 19 Patties

Mash prepared black beans to a paste and add oatmeal. Mix very well.
Finely chop vegetables with food processor and add to bean mixture.
Add Mrs. Dash and mix well.
Add egg whites and mix well.
Form patties and place on a baking sheet.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 12 minutes on each side.
Freeze for either microwaving or grilling.

    can't wait to make this again. its quick & easy on the food tracker too! liked the idea of the oats added. i made for a guest (added spinach too), and next time i will make it spicier for myself. still have a bunch in the freezer too! - 1/1/11
