Ingredients

    8 cups water
    4 heaping tsp dashi soup stock
    1 cup taro root
    2 tbsp wakame seaweed
    1 block firm tofu
    1/2 cup miso soup paste
    4 tbsp chopped chives for garnish

Directions

1. Soak the wakame in water, then cut into bite size pieces. Cut the tofu and taro into 1/2 inch cubes.
2. Heat the dashi and taro for 3-4 minutes or until taro is almost soft, then add the miso and allow to dissolve.
3. Add the wakame and tofu and heat gently for 5 minutes, being careful not to let it boil. Garnish with the chives when serving.
