Ingredients

    1 tbsp olive oil
    2 lbs round or simmering steak
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp cracked black peppercorns
    1/4 cup flour
    1 1/2 cups beef broth
    2 green peppers, cut into strips

Directions

1. In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Brown steak in pieces on both sides. Transfer to slow cooker.
2. Reduce heat to medium low. Add onions, celery to pan. Cover and cook until vegetables are softened, about 8 minutes. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and cook for 1 minute, stirring. Add broth and cook until thickened, stirring to scrape up brown bits.
3. Pour over meat, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 minutes.
4. Stir in green peppers. Cover and cook on high for 20 to 25 minutes, until peppers are tender.

    It should say 8-10 HOURS not minutes. But I suppose you'd have to be an idiot not to notice that lol
