Introduction

What a yummy way to make brussel sprouts! No one in my family eats them usually, but when I make them this way, they eat them so fast they don't even know what vegetable it is! What a yummy way to make brussel sprouts! No one in my family eats them usually, but when I make them this way, they eat them so fast they don't even know what vegetable it is!

Ingredients

    spam single (3 oz package)
    *Could use spam lite fo fewer calories and fat
    PictSweet Frozen Brussel Sprouts, 16 oz
    Pine Nuts, 3/4 cup
    Minced Garlic, 2 tsp (whatever your preference)
    Juice from 1/2 a lmon
    3 Green Onions, diced
    Spinkle of Olive Oil

Directions

Shred brussel sprouts in food processor, and sprinkle lemon juice on top (You could chop them if you like but food processor is much easier in my opinion.), and set aside. Saute spam slice until golden brown, then chop and set aside. Saute pine nuts in a splash of olive oil (on med heat) until light brown, then add minced garlic and chopped green onions. Add shredded brussel sprouts to pan. Mix ingredients together in pana nd continue to saute about 10 minutes on low/med heat. Just before you are gong to take pan off heat, mix spam into pan. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with a little shredded parmesan if you like.
