Using my Vita Mix for breakfast - amazingly filling and good! Using my Vita Mix for breakfast - amazingly filling and good!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/2 cup 5-grain cereal (Oats, bran, flax, etc) - I use the one from Whole Foods (nutrition info is for just oats)

    1 cup milk

    1 banana

    1 Tbsp. almonds
    1 Tbsp. walnuts

1 tsp. Agave (or honey, or brown sugar), or other sweetner to taste.

Cinnamon to taste (other other seasonings if desired).

Directions

Combine milk, banana, oats, almonds, and walnuts in Vita Mix blender. (you can try in another lower-powered blender but I don't know if it will work).

Blend for ~1 minute until a liquidy consistency with some froth. Add spices, blend to mix.

Pour into 1 large mug or 2 regular-sized mugs (can split serving size in half & share for a lighter breakfast for two).
Place in microwave and microwave on high for 2-5 minutes until mixture begins to "bake" and puff out over the edges of the mug. Microwave longer for a more solid product, or shorter for a mushier version.

Enjoy!!
