Number of Servings: 4

1/2 box Farfalle or Bowtie pasta
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas or fresh
3 oz. very thinly sliced prosciutto, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    2 tbsp. fresh basil
    2 tbsp. fresh parsley
1 tbsp. lemon juice ( or more to taste)
    1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper, to taste

1. Bring pasta water to a boil, add salt. Add pasta and stir.

2. Chop prosciutto, slice garlic, and chop basil and parsley. Set herbs aside.

3. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add prosciutto and saute prosciutto for about 3 minutes, or until slightly crispy.

4. Add garlic slices, cook about 1 minute, or until garlic is golden brown. Do not overcook. Remove from heat.

5. Just before pasta is done, add peas to pasta water to cook for about 30 seconds.

6. Drain pasta and peas, and put them in a large bowl. Stir in prosciutto, cheese, lemon juice, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Serve warm.
