    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Beef, round steak, 2 lb
    Onions, raw, 2 large
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
    Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched, .1-1/2 teaspons
    Red Wine, 1 cup
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, .5 cup
    1/teaspoon salt
    /14 teaspoon fresh black pepper


add oil to skillet saute the round steak, remove beef add onions and mushrooms saute remove and set aside . Return beef to skillet, sprinkle in flour salt and pepper. Stri in red wine and broth bring to a boil
reduce and simmer for one hour or until tender and the onion/mushroom mixture and coolkuntil heated throughly

    We had this for Valentines dinner last night .. INCREDIBLE. A new favorite. Side dishes of new potatoes with yogurt & dill and asparagus and snow peas with lemon, and carrot salad made dinner very special. - 2/15/13

    This was delicious! I used to make a very fattening beef burgundy before starting with SP. This is even better, especially in the summer! I will use a little less salt next time, but otherwise it got rave reviews. Thanks! - 7/6/08
