Introduction

We have lots of rhubarb from our garden. We get strawberries from a local farmer's market. We just happen to love fruit crisps. We could not find a recipe we really liked so we created this one.

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 cups rhubarb, chopped
    1 cup strawberries, sliced
    2/3 cups sugar
    2 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup old fashioned oats
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons margarine

Directions

Toss rhubarb, strawberries, cornstarch and sugar in a bowl. Let stand for about 15 minutes. While that is standing, Combine brown sugar. oats, flour, salt and margarine; cutting in margarine. Pour fruit mixture in a square baking pan sprayed with a non-stick spray. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the top of fruit. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 12.
