Introduction

I make a lot of raw food dessert recipes and they don't all turn out wonderfully but this one...WOW!...the whole family loved them!! :) I make a lot of raw food dessert recipes and they don't all turn out wonderfully but this one...WOW!...the whole family loved them!! :)
Number of Servings: 50

Ingredients

    * 3 cups pecan halves
    * 2 Tbsp almond butter
    * 1/4 cup agave (use half cup if you really have a sweet tooth or if you just generally like sweeter chocolate)
    * 1/4 cup cocoa powder
    * 2 pinch salt

Directions

Place pecans in a food processor until the texture gets close to a flour .

(I personally like my brownies with some texture so I leave them a bit gritty but the smoother you like them the more you blend)

Stir by hand and toss in other ingredients. Blend together either by hand or with a couple quick pulses in your food processor.

Roll into balls or make them wider by shaping them into round circles with your hands.

If you're like me you will eat a couple fresh out of the food processor :)...but you can put them in the fridge or dehydrate them for a couple of hours.

Makes about 50 small brownie bite servings.

Enjoy!! :)

    Good
    I have been trying raw recipes lately. I found this to be "OK." Not great. However, if you're not a "raw" person (like my husband), he took one bite and wouldn't finish the ball. He just shuddered and was like, "Ahhh, that's terrible." - 1/4/11
