Ingredients

    1/3 lbs. bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 medium yellow onion, chopped
    1 head shredded cabbage
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 lbs. smoked sausage (5 or 6 large links)
    1/4 cup water

Directions

Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces and fry with chopped onion until crisp, then add minced garlic and saute two minutes. Add shredded cabbage and 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook for five minutes. Stir cabbage mixture and add sliced sausage. Cover and cook an additional five minutes or until completely heated through.
