Introduction

My boyfriend stole this from a "friend" but co-oped it to make it even better, so he gets no credit :)

Either ketchup or medium salsa can be used as a 1-to-1 substitute, the salsa adds a really good flavor and doesn't add a ton of heat, but the nutrition information is done using ketchup. We usually make 2 loaves, one with ketchup and one with salsa. Great leftover too!

Ingredients

    For one loaf:

    1 pound ground chuck
    1 egg
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 tablespoon parsley

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. If mixture seems too dry to hold together, add a little milk. Form into a loaf into a baking pan. Bake for 1 hour.

Serving is one slice, 1/5 of loaf.
