Introduction

This is a pretty basic cream sauce. I like a lot of seafood so I buy half a pound of each, but you can always cut back, or use another type of meat. Just add your favorite pasta! Ingredients

    Sauce:
    1tbsp light olive oil
    1pat butter
    1 can of stewed tomatoes, not drained, or 2 large chopped tomatoes
    1/2 medium onion, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    basil, to taste
    pepper, to taste
    1/2 cup light whipping cream
    2tbsp light cream cheese

    I like to try other types of cheese- bleu, feta, gorgonzola, it's up to you

    Seafood:

    1/2 lb cooked shrimp
    1/2 lb cooked scallops
    1 pat butter
    lemon garlic seasoning or garlic salt and lemon

Directions

Melt 1 pat of butter in a pan
add shrimp and scallops
sprinkle with lemon garlic seasoning, about 1.5 tbsp, or to taste
let them cook for about 15 minutes, or until scallops and shrimp are white

Sautee onions and garlic in olive oil over medium heat
Add stewed tomatoes, bring to boil, let simmer for five minutes or until most of the liquid is gone.
remove from heat, stir in cream.
bring to boil, then let simmer for 20 minutes, sauce will thicken the longer it simmers. stir in cream cheese and any other cheeses while it simmers
