Introduction
My own twist on Giada deLaurentis's recipe. It was great. We had it here tonight and my roommate wants it every week now! My own twist on Giada deLaurentis's recipe. It was great. We had it here tonight and my roommate wants it every week now!Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
1/2 cup - Unsalted Butter
Gnocchi (Store-bought package...serves 4 people)
1 Tbsp - Thyme
2 tsp - Salt
Parmigiano Reggiano (to taste)
Directions
1. Get a large pot of boiling water going.
2. Once the water starts boiling, add in about 2 teaspoons of salt
3. Add the gnocchi to the boiling water. You will know that they are done when they float to the top and look like big fluffy pillows :)
3. In a medium sized skillet, brown 1/2 cup of unsalted butter on medium heat.
4. Once the butter is browned, remove it from the heat and mix in one tablespoon of thyme.
5. When the gnocchi has risen, remove it from the water and add it to the butter-thyme mixture.
6. Toss to coat it.
7. Once you plate the gnocchi, add grated Parmigiano Reggiano on top. It gives it a little more flavor, in my opinion.
8. ENJOY!
